Charleston Wedding Photographers: Patrick Hall bio picture

Welcome to the pH Factor~!

Thanks for visiting!

Patrick Hall was born in Charleston, SC and has lived in Alaska, Alabama, and Tennessee.  After graduating from college in 2004, Patrick traveled throughout the southeast before calling Charleston home in 2006.

During the first 2 years in Charleston, Patrick spent most of his time learning how to craft interesting photos with both wedding professionals and lifestyle photographers.  It was during this time the idea to share his newly learned talents with young couples became Patrick's primary goal.

Today Patrick works full time as a commercial wedding photographer in Charleston, SC and enjoys shooting extreme sports, fashion, and commercial images during any freetime he may have left :)

Seabrook Island Wedding : Rachel and Martin

I first met Rachel and Martin back in January, and they were planning their destination wedding in Charleston all the way from Massachusetts. They originally met in England were they went to college before relocating back to the East Coast. Needless to say, I found out that Europeans can not only out drink me but are also quite the dancers! Rachel and Martin planned their wedding ceremony at Middleton Plantation and then everyone traveled out to Seabrook Island for the reception at the beautiful Seabrook Island Clubhouse. You couldn’t ask for a better day for an outdoor wedding and the bubbles after the ceremony added for a unique touch. The guests at the reception absolutely loved the wedding photobooth and took over 800 photos within 2 hours. They also had one of the most unique departures I’ve experienced as all the guests launched candle powered luminaries into the sky. Check out the full slideshow below as well as some of my favorite images from the day.

January 19, 2011 - 5:01 pm Ghislain - Hi Pat, very nice clip. question for you, I see you have your assistant that films "the kiss" while you shoot pictures of "the Kiss". With all the new DSLR with video, do you suggest to still have someone who would film and one who should shoot stills or now both should film in HD and you just select the best frame for the picture of the kiss? Cheers
