I’ve never been to New York during the Christmas season but after having such an amazing trip, I can see why so many people head up to the big apple in December. Charleston, South Carolina is an amazing place but sometimes I miss the bitter cold that makes the holiday season feel like the holiday season. What can I say, I grew up in Alaska and enjoy the snow
During my visit I scheduled an engagement shoot with Carlos and Hayley. We both wanted to shoot something that showed the city and after walking around Brooklyn a few days earlier, I knew the location was going to have to be near the Brooklyn Bridge. Here are a few images from their session and let me just say, it was the coldest photoshoot I have done yet! Holding a bunch of camera gear in 28 degree weather isn’t as fun as it sounds but when you have a location like NYC as your backdrop and a couple clearly in love it makes your efforts worth the cursing! Enjoy
