Charleston Wedding Photographers: Patrick Hall bio picture

Welcome to the pH Factor~!

Thanks for visiting!

Patrick Hall was born in Charleston, SC and has lived in Alaska, Alabama, and Tennessee.  After graduating from college in 2004, Patrick traveled throughout the southeast before calling Charleston home in 2006.

During the first 2 years in Charleston, Patrick spent most of his time learning how to craft interesting photos with both wedding professionals and lifestyle photographers.  It was during this time the idea to share his newly learned talents with young couples became Patrick's primary goal.

Today Patrick works full time as a commercial wedding photographer in Charleston, SC and enjoys shooting extreme sports, fashion, and commercial images during any freetime he may have left :)

Haiti Crisis and Water Missions

With so much attention on the tragic situation in Haiti, I thought it would be a great time to share with you an amazing outreach group that is having a huge impact on Haitian lives during this horrible event.  Water Missions is an outreach group which provides sustainable water solutions for people in places with contaminated water.  I first learned of their efforts through my local church at Seacoast here in Mount Pleasant.  Before the earthquake in Haiti, Seacoast and Water Missions were working closely with African countries to help purify water in remote places as well as in highly populated areas in which local water was too polluted to drink.  Since the devastation in the Caribbean, much of the Seacoast relief effort has shifted to our neighbors in Haiti.  If you’ve watched any of the coverage on television, it’s quite easy to see how the basic need for clean drinking water has become one of the pillars in helping the local people get back on their feet.  When I first learned about Water Missions and saw the amazing water purifying apparatuses they had engineered, I really felt the need to give to this charity to help those in need.  It’s really quite a humbling experience when you are reminded just how many people world wide are not blessed with such a common necessity as clean drinking water.  I know a lot of you are already donating to the Red Cross or other charities but if you have any extra to give or have not yet given anything, please check out their website and consider reaching out to a struggling country in our own backyard.

Check out this video from Water Missions….I apologize in advance for the actor; hopefully you can see past his enthusiasm :)
