Seabrook Island Wedding : Rachel and Martin

I first met Rachel and Martin back in January, and they were planning their destination wedding in Charleston all the way from Massachusetts. They originally met in England were they went to college before relocating back to the East Coast. Needless to say, I found out that Europeans can not only out drink me but are also quite the dancers! Rachel and Martin planned their wedding ceremony at Middleton Plantation and then everyone traveled out to Seabrook Island for the reception at the beautiful Seabrook Island Clubhouse. You couldn’t ask for a better day for an outdoor wedding and the bubbles after the ceremony added for a unique touch. The guests at the reception absolutely loved the wedding photobooth and took over 800 photos within 2 hours. They also had one of the most unique departures I’ve experienced as all the guests launched candle powered luminaries into the sky. Middleton Plantation Wedding, Emily and Kevyn

Middleton Plantation is one of the best local plantations in Charleston for an outside wedding. Kevyn and Emily traveled to Charleston from Dallas, Texas and had a very intimate wedding at the crane pool side of the property. It’s always interesting working with couples from outside of the state since most of their friends and family usually have not yet visited Charleston. Like many of my clients, Kevyn and Emily were really excited about my wedding photobooth, and so we were able to set it up inside for the reception at the Pavilion. As a destination wedding photographer, my main goal is to capture images of everyone at the wedding being themselves, but with the photobooth, it allows guests to take images unlike anything I can take myself. Middleton Plantation Wedding: Jamie and Keith

Jamie and Keith are a young fun couple from Charlotte, North Carolina that wanted to do something different so they invited all their friends and family to Charleston for their wedding. These wedding photos were taken at Middleton Plantation just outside of Charleston and they were married in the octagonal garden on the north side of the property. After the ceremony, we walked around the plantation and took some really fun photographs. I also setup a wedding photobooth for their reception which was a big hit. Middleton Plantation Wedding Photography: Halle and Brian

Just finished up the images from Halle and Brian’s wedding out at Middleton Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. This was a great wedding which included one of the best sounding bands I have ever heard. The energy at the reception really shows in their images and a good time was had by all that attended. I have one more wedding before the end of the season, and then I’m going to start producing my next project which is still top secret right now. Meredith and Paul

Paul and Meredith came to me sometime in 2008 about planning their Charleston wedding. They were getting married on James Island and having their ceremony at Middleton Plantation. Both Paul and Meredith were pretty laid back people so I knew their engagement photos would turn out great. Meredith also wanted a few bridal shots out at the plantation before the wedding so we planned a session that would allow her mother to help out too. It is always nice when you get to work with a couple before their actual wedding date, and I think it really helps build the relationship early so everyone feels extra comfortable when all the cameras come out for the wedding day.
